Today was long and rather lacking in excitement. Dizzy and I made some of our own, but we had to spend a long time by ourselves. G&G and Auntie Em left in the middle of the day. I heard Grandma speaking of something they were going to see, some paintings by someone named Kahlo. They came back mid-afternoon smelling of spicy meat. Auntie Em said something about "good Mexican food." I wish we had some.
The day began with Grandma telling Grandpa to take us on a walk around the block. Well, she didn't ask me! Grandpa tried walking us up the hill, but I got only a little way and decided I really didn't want to walk this morning. We turned around.
G&G and Auntie Em took us to the basement for popcorn and a movie. Something called "Elf." They laughed a lot, but I don't understand the jokes. There weren't any dogs in the movie, so I was more interested in the popcorn. Later, Dizzy and I got up on Grandma's and Auntie Em's laps for a nice nap. I think that's when Grandpa took this picture.
Tomorrow is another day. We hope our mommies are having fun.
